More natural light photos of Leasea today. You'll notice she has trouble keeping her eyes open in the bright sun shining into the room. The solutions were 1) keep the eyes closed, and 2) photograph other parts of the body. In both cases, we got some nice shots.

As a photographer I can say it's remarkable how many of these frames show good poses, good expressions, pure beauty - it's difficult to find any images to edit out. So, much better for our site members who will have the happy task of looking thru hundreds of new shots to find some favorites.

Here's another series of Meiko in black and white. This studio set-up just seems to work better in monochrome - the combination of dramatic overhead lighting and wide-angle lens gives it both an old-time feel and also an edgy raw sex vibe. Anyway, her next session is in color and completely different, coming up shortly.

Playboy model Cassandra first appeared in this Oakland studio series in low resolution black & white, so it's time she got an upgrade to our more current standards. This group was shot just after she arrived at the studio, and some are a bit awkward, but you'll see she warms up and relaxes in the upcoming galleries.

Here's another series from one of my photo workshops, starring one of our most prolific models, Amber. This is our 6th edition of the "GL files," coming to us from one of my photo students, whom we are calling GL, since he has asked to remain anonymous.(full story below) The shots are sometimes successful, sometimes not, but they give a good sense of what it's like for a beginner photographer to interact with a beautiful and fun-loving model. Long story short: GL is dying, diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and he is putting his life in order, so to speak. One of his final wishes is to donate all his Amber files back to me, to do with what I feel is best. So as noted previously, these are all originally GL photos - posted exactly as he shot them, without cropping or retouching. Some of these photos will appear to duplicate shots I have posted (in this case, see Amber's gallery C17) which is quite normal since all workshop students, and myself, were shooting the same models in the same settings.
